Starting a New Talbott Recovery Alumni Chapter is Easy!
Anyone who has walked the road of recovery knows that temptations and the lure of old behaviors can be some of the toughest parts of the struggle for a clean and sober (and happy) lifestyle. Just as Talbott places recovering addicts together in off-campus living environments while they attend our detoxification programs, we encourage Talbott alumni to get together for support purposes once they leave campus and return home.
Starting a local alumni chapter in your neck of the woods is a great way to keep on the path of recovery while helping others stay strong as well. Some of the benefits of an alumni chapter include:
- Moral and emotional support from peers who understand your personal struggle with substances
- A dependable time slot consistently in-place where you know you can be heard and encouraged to stay sober
- The opportunity to support others who may be struggling, which reinforces your resolve as well towards sobriety
- Serious or light-hearted gatherings that build your personal support community together
- Promotional support from Talbott Recovery
