In a convenient and private
setting, TALBOTT at
Dunwoody’s Day
Treatment Program offers
a comprehensive range of
services through a 30-day
(5 days per week/6 hours
per day) treatment
program. The TALBOTT
at Dunwoody Day
Treatment Program
provides 12-Step based
treatment to those 18 and
older, addressing both
substance abuse disorders
and dual diagnosis. Our
treatment philosophy and
practices are based on
more than 35 years of
highly successful and effective
treatment experience
of founder, Douglas
Talbott, M.D. and the
programs developed in our
traditional 90-day program
at the Talbott Recovery
Campus in Atlanta.
Program Content:
Each patient receives an individualized
treatment plan designed to address issues
specific to that patient. Examples of treatment
modalities incorporated include:
- Medical and psychological
evaluation
- Spiritual groups
- Process groups
- Patient education series
- Recovery skills training
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd step education
and integration practice
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(DBT) skills training
- Individual sessions with case
manager
- Family therapy
- Weekly sessions with attending
physician
- Random drug screens
- Comprehensive continuing care
planning
Candidates for the program:
TALBOTT’s Day Treatment Program is
designed for people 18 years of age and
older who are struggling with substance
abuse disorders. Patients may reside at
home or in a nearby recovery residence
while he/she is in treatment.
Staff:
TALBOTT’s Day Treatment Program
is facilitated by master’s level therapists
and medical doctors with expertise in
treating addiction and dual diagnosis
patients.

TALBOTT at Dunwoody is a tastefully
decorated, private space tucked away in
a wooded setting just a few blocks north
of I-285. We are easily accessed from
either the Shallowford Road or North
Peachtree Road exits off I-285.

Monday—Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
What if Day Treatment is not enough?
TALBOTT at Dunwoody services are
designed to compliment, and easily
integrate into, our traditional 90-day
program at our main campus, if clinically
indicated. Treatment recommendations
are based on the clinical assessment of
the patient and his/her progress in the
program.
