The mission of the Alumni Services department is to assist and support the recoveries of TRC's alumni. Director of Alumni Services, Carol Bowers (carol.bowers@uhsinc.com) is available to help alumni to manage their ongoing recoveries. Carol can assist alumni to:

• Find recovery resources in their area
• Make contact with other TRC alumni (local or otherwise)
• Locate a Local Alumni Chapter in their area - see Local Alumni Chapter section
• Start a new Alumni Chapter - click here to download a Chapter Starter Kit
• Answer questions about recovery issues

Carol Bowers also sends out regular emails to alumni in our database to keep alumni informed about recovery issues, changes to TRC programs and to up-to-date alumni on campus events and Return Visit dates. To insure you receive these emails, please go to the Alumni Contact Update section of this website and complete the online form. Doing so will also insure that you receive emails announcing publication of the latest issue of the Talbott Times. Whenever your mailing address or email address changes, we suggest you update TRC using this form.

At TRC we are always looking for more and better ways to serve our patients and alumni. You're input in this process in invaluable to us. If you have ideas for new services or suggestions about existing services please click here and send us an email.

Here are a couple of new services already in the planning and development phase.

• TRC Lecture Series on DVD - To date, selected TRC lectures have only been available on VHS tape. We have begun the process of updating the TRC lecture series to provide you with the latest recovery information available. All new lectures will be presented by current TRC staff members and will be available on DVD only. In addition to the current lecture series, Dr. Talbott's lectures have been converted to digital format and will also be available DVD as well. As new lectures become available, we will send alumni emails and announcements will be posted on this website (in the News & Events Section) and in the Talbott Times.



• TRC Website Subscriber Service - In the second half of 2007, we plan to add a subscriber section to this website. Alumni will be issued usernames and passwords to gain access. Features will include:
• Alumni Message Board - Individual alumni or Local Alumni Chapters will be able to leave messages for their classmates and other TRC alumni.
• TRC Lecture Series - Selected TRC lectures will be available online. This will provide alumni to get a brief recharge on their recovery or to hear a message of recovery when they are unable to attend a 12-Step meeting or contact other elements of their recovery network.
