Twenty-five years ago, the Talbott program pioneered the 96-Hour Assessment for the comprehensive life evaluation of professionals. We regularly obtain requests for 96-Hour Evaluations from Professionals Wellness Programs, state licensing authorities, hospitals or state bars, as well as family and concerned friends. The assessment will help make clinically sound decisions for patients who are unsure if they need treatment, or the level of care they may require.
- Alcohol and other drug dependency
- Co-occurring psychiatric disorders such as depression or anxiety
- Pain assessment available, if scheduled in advance
When additional areas are evaluated, the 96-Hour Assessment may extend past the usual four days. If clinically indicated, a 96 Hour Assessment may also be recommended to prospective patients applying to TRC's Adult Program and Young Adult Programs. The 96 Hour Assessment has been designed to explore particular issues identified by the concerned parties and to provide the patient and referring parties with comprehensive conclusions and recommended courses of action. Following the assessment, diagnoses and recommendations are presented and provided in a detailed assessment report.
