Medications Program
The Medication Program at Talbott Recovery Campus is designed to assist the patient with an important component of the recovery process - a safe environment in the recovery residences for taking prescription and non-prescription medicine.
Medications Guidelines
All medications (prescription or non-prescription), including herbal remedies and supplements must be approved and ordered by the patient's Talbott physician.
Talbott orders all medications from Publix Pharmacy, who has agreed to provide medications for our patients. Publix works with most prescription insurance plans.
The cost of medications is a separate charge by the pharmacy and is the patient's responsibility. Payment arrangements should be made through Talbott prior to the patient's admission.
Medications will be bubble-packed in medication cards by Publix Pharmacy and delivered to Talbott for distribution by nursing staff.
Sample medications or medications from home may not be used without the permission of the Talbott physician. Medications will be re-packaged by Publix Pharmacy. There is a small re-packaging fee.
