TRC provides state of art treatment programs to assess and treat individuals who are addicted to alcohol and other mood altering chemicals and who also may have coexisting psychiatric disorders. TRC recruits and trains highly skilled, licensed healthcare professionals, including six full time physicians, who can deliver medical, individual and group therapies that give patients the opportunity to develop the coping skills necessary to build a long term, self-sustaining recovery based on abstinence from alcohol and other mind altering chemicals.

For thirty five years Talbott Recovery Campus (TRC) has been dedicated to delivering the highest quality addiction treatment services available. Originally the TRC program was primarily designed to treat impaired healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, nurses) earning TRC a national reputation as: "the place where healers come to be healed." During those three decades program service were expanded and offered to a full range of adults (18 years and older) and now includes a second specialty program designed to address the unique issues and recovery challenges faced by young adults (18 to 25 years).
From the outset TRC was recognized as a leader in the development of treatment techniques for alcoholic and chemically dependent patients. In large part this was due to the innovative work of TRC co-founder, Dr. G. Douglas Talbott. During his tenure as Medical Director, Dr. Talbott developed pioneering treatment features like TRC's Mirror Image, Extended Therapeutic Leaves and our Alumni Return Visit Program. After numerous other treatment centers adopted these techniques TRC became known as a program that was: "often copied but never equaled." In the process Dr. Talbott became an icon in the field of addiction medicine. He was instrumental in the creation of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the International Association of Addiction Medicine (ISAM) and served as president of both organizations.
The Talbott Recovery Campus tradition of excellence continues today. In 2006 TRC was awarded the prestigious James W. West, M.D. Quality Improvement Award by the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP). At Talbott Recovery Campus we are committed to proving the finest in addiction treatment services available anywhere in the world to assist you and your families to build quality recoveries one day at a time.
